Live Design Broadway Master Classes 2012 @NYU and the Baryshnikov Arts Center

Join celebrated designers Jules Fisher and Abe Jacob, creative consultants for the BLMC and BSMC, as well as a faculty of leading designers working on Broadway today in the areas of sound, projection, and lighting, for a week of the best professional design training focused on Broadway.

The Broadway Master Classes include tickets to one or more Broadway shows (depending on the registration package selected) followed by Q&A discussions in the theatre and an in-depth critique of the design as part of the classes. In addition, leading manufacturers of entertainment technology will participate in the annual manufacturers showcases, offering attendees the opportunity to see the latest in cutting-edge entertainment technology.

2011 Broadway Master Classes take place on May 20-26, 2011 at New York University in New York, NY.

 

The Broadway Sound Master Classes will be held May 21-22 at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts, 721 Broadway, New York, NY. The event includes a performance of the Broadway musical Rain on Friday, May 20.

 

The Broadway Projection Master Classes will be held on May 23 at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts, 721 Broadway, New York, NY.

 

The Broadway Lighting Master Classes will be held May 24-25 at New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY, and at Sardi's, 234 W. 44 Street, on Thurdsay May 26. The event includes a performance of the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark on Wednesday, May 25.
