On May 11, a panel of writing and gaming experts from academia and industry from across the nation will convene at Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. to discuss the use of âserious gamesâ â" or digitally immersing students in real-world issues and situations - in education programs. Academics from Ohio State, SUNY Stony Brook, RPI, and RIT are among the panelists. 1st Playable Production's Tobi Saulnier, a Troy-based game developer, will also participate. Global education thought leader Clark Aldrich will moderate the panel. The event will be livestreamed.
